Bring the blocky charm of 8-bit gaming to the real world with the Pixel Modular Toy Car Collection. Originally designed for the Makeronline platform, these cars are engineered to look like they’ve been pulled directly from a voxel-based world.
Featuring our signature mechanical threaded axle system, these cars are more than just a quick print—they are a fun assembly project. Children can build their own vehicles, helping to develop fine motor skills and tactile problem-solving. Each car is composed of multiple "pixel" components, allowing for incredible multi-color combinations.

- The City Cruiser (Green Hatchback): A classic daily driver with a stepped voxel windshield and high-contrast window inserts.
🛠️ Assembly & Safety Note
This model is designed for a precision snap-and-screw fit. While the fit is tight, we highly recommend using a few drops of CA glue (superglue) for the small pixel inserts (headlights, sirens, windows) if the toy is intended for heavy play by children. This ensures no parts fall off during high-speed "chases"!
⚙️ Printing Settings
- Support: None Required.
- Design Note: The stepped "staircase" geometry of the cars is naturally self-supporting.
- Orientation: Print the main car bodies on their flat bottom faces. Print wheels and pixel inserts flat on the bed. Print threaded axles vertically.
- Layer Height: 0.2mm (Essential for the precision tolerances of the snap-fit parts).
- Wall Loops: 3 to 4 loops. (Crucial for the strength of the threaded axles).
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid).
- Material: PLA (Bright, high-saturation colors give the best 8-bit effect).
